Because vintage and luxury sizing varies across brands, countries, and decades, we've created a dedicated Size Library to help you shop with confidence.

Every product listing also includes garment measurements taken by hand whenever possible.

A few Curator's Notes:

Italian tailoring often runs smaller than contemporary American sizing.

Denim sizing varies widely depending on the brand, era, fabric content, and intended fit.

Vintage garments were often produced using sizing standards that differ from today's ready-to-wear. A vintage size 12, for example, may fit closer to a modern size 6 or 8. Because of these variations, we encourage you to rely on the garment measurements provided in each listing instead of the tag alone.

For vintage denim, we recommend choosing based on measurements rather than the size on the label.

Vintage designer jackets may have more structured shoulders than modern silhouettes.

Natural fibers such as linen and cotton become even more beautiful with wear

Linen: Naturally breathable with little stretch. Linen softens and relaxes with wear while maintaining its beautiful texture.

Cotton: Comfortable and breathable. Fit will vary depending on the weave and any stretch fibers.

Silk: Elegant with minimal natural stretch. We recommend paying close attention to bust and hip measurements.

Wool & Cashmere: Often have a gentle natural give while maintaining their structure.

Leather: Leather softens over time and gradually molds to the wearer with regular use.
